I consider myself an underground artist. I kinda thought doing superhero comics was looked down on so I avoided doing them for a long time. Eventually I decided to do it anyway. I’d built up a heap of ideas and characters that I wanted to use in something. My basic concept was to mash superhero camp with seedy underground stuff. Mainstream comics on crack and LSD. I think I succeeded.
